What is the capacity of the venue?

We have a venue capacity of 150 standing and we currently cater for 40 seated for dining.

When are you available for private hire?

Mon- Thurs – 09:00 am – 00:00 pm

Fri – Sat 22:30 pm – 04:30 am

Sun – By arrangement, please enquire bookings@basement144.com

Do you accept walk ins?

We do accept walk-ins for dining

Do I need ID?

Identification needs to be presented to our reception team upon arrival to the venue after 22:00 pm if an event is being attended – no exceptions.

Do you charge entry?

Entry is free. However, there may be a charge for special events at the venue. These charges will be advertised prior to the event.

Do you have a cloak room?

We do have an allocated area for coat storage. This is only manned for private hire, so left solely at your own risk. There is a fee to use the clock facilities.

Do you have customer parking?

There is available street parking near and around the venue.

Where is the closest station?

The closest stations are: Holloway Road Station, Highbury & Islington station Drayton Park Station

Are children permitted?

Children are more than welcome at the restaurant. However, we are limited to guests over the age of 18 after 21:00 pm. We also ask that for safety reasons, under 18’s are accompanied by an adult at all times. Children are not permitted in the bar area of our venue at any time.

Currently we do not provide high chairs for children.
